Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry is all set to host the mega Odisha Travel Bazaar from October 15 at Hotel Mayfair Lagoon here.
“The three-day event is being organised for the first time in Odisha with the aim to promote and market Odisha’s tourist destinations by interacting with potential buyers at business to business (B2B) platforms,” said tourism secretary Mona Sharma while addressing a press conference here on Friday.
The event scheduled to be inaugurated by Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda will witness the presence of around 40 foreign, 20 inbound, 10 domestic and five airline operators, she said.
International tour operators from countries like Australia, Cambodia, Republic Denmark, Czech, China, Germany, France, Indonesia and Italy will participate in B2B scheduled meetings, she added.
