Gajapati/Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted raids on houses and offices of three government officials in Gajapati and Bhubaneswar on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to their known sources of income.
Simultaneous raids were carried out at five places, including the residences of two constables identified as Ranjit Limma and Tanuj Sabat.
Ranjit is the president of district havildar and constable association, while Tanuj is posed at the office of Police Reserve Inspector in Parlakhemundi.
Similarly, the anti-corruption officials raided the office and houses of Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA) accounts officer Nalini Kumari Prusty in Bhubaneswar.
Raids were conducted at Prusty’s residences in Madhusudan Nagar at Chandrasekharpur in Bhubaneswar and his office.
Besides, his native places at Orio and Oragala villages in Kendrapara district and office chamber of her spouse Bijaya Ketan Sahoo, working as tehsildar in Chhatrapur of Ganjam district, were raided, following which several official documents were verified.
