Bhubaneswar: Following thunderstorm and heavy rainfall warning by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Odisha government on Monday directed district collectors to remain on alert.
Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Jena has asked the collectors to closely monitor the situation and keep the administration in readiness to meet any eventuality. He has also asked them to inform the emergency operation centre about the situation at regular intervals.
