Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has forecast thunderstorms and lightning with moderate rainfall at some places in Odisha till 6:45 pm on Friday.
The districts which are likely to experience such weather conditions are Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Kalahandi.
People in these districts have been advised to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings during lightning as a precautionary measure.
