Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorms, with lightning and moderate rain, is likely to affect some parts of Odisha’s Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts within the next couple of hours.
Gusty surface wind reaching 40-50 kmph has been predicted by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
Under its impact, there could be minor damage to loose or unsecured structures, banana trees, and some damage to standing crops.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places accordingly.
