Mumbai: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s romantic drama, ‘Saiyaara’ is giving a tough competition to the upcoming releases.
After postponing the theatrical release, the makers of the Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur-starrer ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ are now rolling out the film’s tickets at 50% discount.
Advance bookings for the film opened on Tuesday night, and the film’s producers, Jio Studios announced a 50% off on tickets on BookMyShow for the opening day.

‘Son of Sardaar 2’, a sequel to the 2012 action comedy ‘Son Of Sardaar’, was initially scheduled for a July 25 release. However, following ‘Saiyaara’s strong run at the box-office, the makers postponed the release of the film to August 1.
‘Saiyaara’, which opened to Rs 21. 50 crore on the first day, has now crossed Rs 400 crore mark worldwide, according to a Sacnilk report.
