Beijing: In a tit for tat, China has said that its citizens will boycott Apple products if the US bans Chinese messaging app WeChat.
“Under the guise of national security, some US politicians have abused state power to unjustifiably suppress non-US companies,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said.
This is in context of US President Donald Trump ordering all American firms to stop doing business with WeChat.
