Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu is expected to arrive in Bhubaneswar at 5.10 pm on Monday.
She will be on a two-day visit to Odisha and attend a series of official engagements in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Over 50 platoons of forces, including 20 of local police, have been deployed for her programmes at six places in the Millennium City, according to Cuttack DCP Rishikesh Khilari.

To ensure better regulation and free flow of traffic, the Commissionerate Police has issued a detailed traffic advisory for the twin cities. Temporary traffic restrictions will be in place in parts of the cities during the President’s official engagements. Commuters are advised to avoid designated routes during specified times and plan their journeys accordingly. No vehicles will be permitted on the listed roads and their connecting lanes/by-lanes on the dates and times mentioned below:

On July 14, goods carriers (6 or more wheelers – trucks and trailers) heading towards Cuttack from Khurda via Bhubaneswar will not be allowed to ply from Pitapalli Square, from where those will be diverted towards Cuttack via Chandaka Square
Similarly, trucks and trailers coming from the Cuttack side will be diverted at Balikuda Square towards Pitapalli Square via Chandaka Square.
On July 15, no goods carriers will be allowed to ply in both the cities as well as on NH-16 between 6am and 7 pm.
These restrictions will not be applicable for the emergency vehicles (Fire, Ambulance & Police), it added.
