Bhubaneswar: A tusker was electrocuted after it came in contact with a transformer at Golabai near Jankia in Odisha’s Khurda district late Sunday night.
According to reports, two elephants were crossing NH-16 at Golabai on Sunday night when one of them came in contact with the transformer.
Forest officials along with police rushed to the spot.
