Mumbai: Amid the buzz around Akshay Kumar and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘fight’ over a film on ‘Operation Sindoor’, actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna opened up about confronting her husband after learning about the clash on social media.
In her latest column for The Times of India, Twinkle wrote, “I can test paneer with an iodine solution — but what is the litmus test for the truth? I come across a flurry of tweets and I call the man of the house and start arguing. ‘I just read that you are fighting with Vicky Kaushal over who gets to make a movie on Operation Sindoor.’ He sighs and says, ‘It’s fake news and my leg is on fire, so I will call you later.’ He really should devise better excuses if he just wants to hang up.”
Known for her witty takes on different subjects, Twinkle took a dig at gossipmongers, who are spreading the fake news about Akshay and Vicky’s fight.
The further shared that when Akshay returned home, she realised that he wasn’t exaggerating as he had suffered a minor injury on set.
“Apparently, his leg was truly on fire for a scene. Nowadays, it is so difficult to figure out what is true that I look at every piece of information suspiciously,” she further wrote.
A few days ago, producer Uttam Maheshwari had announced a film titled ‘Operation Sindoor,’ and faced backlash.
Soon after this, rumours started doing the rounds that Akshay and Vicky were fighting over the rights to make a film on ‘Operation Sindoor.’
