Bhubaneswar: Ministers Niranjan Pujari and Padmanabha Behera, who were scheduled to hoist National Flag during Independence Day functions in Puri and Ganjam, will not attend the ceremony.
According to official sources, the two ministers have been advised to remain under quarantine after a COVID-19 positive person was found to be in their close proximity during a meeting recently.

In place of the ministers, the collectors of Puri and Ganjam will hoist the National Flag on the Independence Day, the sources said.
