Malkangiri: Two security personnel were injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast near Jantapai village in Badapada panchayat under Chitrakonda block of Malkangiri district on Monday.
The jawans belonging to Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were rushed to Badapada Primary Health Centre and later shifted to the district headquarters hospital for better treatment.

The incident took place when the duo was engaged in a combing operation, Malkangiri SP Jagmohan Meena said.
