Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in the Odisha capital touched 769 on Tuesday with 51 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Among the new patients, 35 are quarantine cases and 16 local contacts.
While seven patients had a travel history to US and other parts of India (Uttar Pradesh, Bengaluru and Bihar), 27 were infected by previous positive cases, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tweeted.
Two employees of a central government hospital have also tested positive for the virus, while 5 other local contact cases are linked to health institutions in the city, the tweet added.
Meanwhile, another five patients have recovered in Bhubaneswar.
With 10 deaths and 361 recoveries, the city now has 397 active cases.
