Union Budget 2023: Netizens React To New Tax Regime, Increased Tax On Cigarette With Memes

Bhubaneswar: Memes flooded the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2023 in Parliament on Wednesday. The proposal to raise the rebate limit of income earned up to Rs 7 lakh, up from Rs 5 lakh and the exemption limit from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh was welcomed by a large section of internet users.

They also posted reactions to articles that would become expensive like cigarettes.
