Union Govt Issues Guidelines For Reopening Of Schools After October 15
New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Education on Monday issued guidelines for reopening of schools after October 15, as part of Unlock 5.0.
Education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also shared the news on his Twitter handle.

According to the guidelines, the states and UTs can prepare their own Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) based on the SOP to be issued by Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL).

“Schools must arrange and implement for thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all areas, furniture, equipment, stationery, storage places, water tanks, kitchens, canteen, washroom, laboratories, libraries, on the school campus and ensure airflow in indoor space,” the government notification stated.
The Ministry has also recommended the schools to adopt flexible attendance and sick leave policies.
