US-Based Saloni Foundation Adopts Five Odisha Medical Students
Bhubaneswar: Saloni Foundation, based in California, has adopted five Zindagi Foundation students for their entire medical studies.
The students picked are from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds, landless labourers’ children, daily labourers’ children, vegetable sellers’ children, roadside vendors’ children. Most of these families hardly manage two-square meal a day.
Despite all the challenges, these students have conquered poverty to perform extremely well in the NEET 2020 and managed to seal berths in prestigious government medical colleges of the state.
The Foundation based in Bhubaneswar provides all facilities — medical coaching, food, lodging and study material absolutely free of cost — to underprivileged students who aspire to become doctors.
Zindagi Foundation’s all 19 students have successfully cleared the NEET 2020 and several of them got admission into prestigious state medical colleges.
