Bhubaneswar: Very heavy rain accompanied by lightning and gusty wind is likely to pound at least 13 districts of Odisha by 1 pm on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 10 am, the weather agency sounded an orange warning for Angul, Balangir, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Keonjhar, Khurda, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Puri, Rayagada, and Sundargarh districts.

Very Heavy Rain with light thunder and lightning and wind speed reaching 30 kmph may occur at most places of these districts in next three hours, it said.
