Mumbai: The Tamil Nadu Assembly election result is the talking point in India on Monday as actor-politician Vijay’s newly-formed Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is headed for victory on debut.
Vijay Deverakonda congratulated the people of Tamil Nadu and the “new CM” following the success of TVK.
Vijay, best known for ‘Varisu’, has emerged as a rare actor-turned-politician taste such resounding success so early in a political career.
Vijay’s milestone victory has drawn congratulatory messages from celebrities across film industries.
Joining them, Deverakonda shared a warm message of support, applauding the people of Tamil Nadu for voting with awareness and choosing a leader they believe in.
He also extended his best wishes for growth and prosperity to the state and its “new CM” as they move forward.
