Angul: A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an elderly man in Odisha’s Angul district on Monday.
The man identified as Dileswara Behera (54) from Rengali area had lured the little girl with a gift and took her to his home in the afternoon. There he allegedly raped her.

The minor girl returned home and narrated her ordeal to her family members. The girl’s family along with some villagers dragged Behera out of his house to the middle of the village and tied him to a pole. Behera was beaten up and informed police.
