The 70-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party chief set out on a long march to Islamabad from Lahore on October 28, demanding early general elections in the country since the current Shehbaz Sharif-headed government is not an elected one.

Imran, who was taken to a Lahore hospital, is being treated for injuries on his legs. Doctors have said that he is otherwise fine.
