In the video posted online, Govinda was seen offering prayers in a church, wearing a yellow t-shirt and standing in front of a picture of Jesus Christ. Posting the video, he captioned it with a cross emoji and folded hand emoji. He was highly criticised by his followers for praying in front of Jesus.
The post went viral soon after it was posted on Instagram garnering over 5 lakh views. Thousand of users commented on the video criticising Govinda. One user wrote, “How can you do this?
