Mumbai: As the highly-anticipated sequel of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ is all set to hit silver screens on December 5, fans of Allu Arjun are miffed with the producer for hiking the ticket prices.
In the Hindi-speaking cities, the ticket prices are as high as ₹2000. The ticket price for the Hindi 2D version of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ in Delhi’s PVR Director’s Cut is ₹2400.
Meanwhile in Mumbai, Maison PVR: Jio World Drive has fixed the ticket at ₹2100 and in other theatres, the tickets cost between ₹1500 and ₹1700.
During the pre-release event at Hyderabad, a Pushpa fan expressed his disappointment over the hiked ticket prices and questioned the film’s producer whether it was fair for Allu’s fans.
In a video, that has gone viral on X, the fan is heard asking the producer, “Sir, isn’t charging us ₹1200 for a ticket too much?”
The producer was surprised when such a question was posed at him from the crowd of fans.

The film has minted over ₹12 crore in Telugu and ₹8 crore in Hindi for the advance booking.
Sharing about Pushpa Raj’s introduction scene in the sequel, RRR director SS Rajamouli, who was also present at the pre-release event said, “Don’t worry, Suku (Sukumar), I won’t talk about the scene, I’ll only talk about how good it was. If the first scene is so impressive, the film itself is going to be next level.”
Helmed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ will be apparently exploring more of Pushpa Raj’s married life with Srivalli and his enmity with Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.
