[Watch] Band Baaja Baaraat & Decorated Mandap For Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani ‘Royal’ Wedding

Jaisalmer: Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani will be tying the knot as per Hindu customs at Bawdi in Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace on Tuesday (February 7). According to the latest buzz, the Shershaah couple will be taking their ‘pheras’ between 2 pm and 4 pm.

This will be followed by a reception at the Celebration Gardens inside the palace where 100 dishes, including Italian, Chinese, American, South Indian, Mexican, Rajasthani, Punjabi and Gujarati delicacies, from 10 countries will be served, reports said.

Pictures of the supposed mandap, where the wedding will take place, are also being shared on Twitter. Around 100 guests including several stars are expected to attend the wedding festivities.

Videos of band-baaja preparations and a truck with additional DJ setup arriving at the wedding venue are also doing the rounds on social media. The band members were seen entering the wedding venue with their floral chhatris. t

According to IANS, around 17 guests have arrived so far from Siddharth’s side while 10 people have come from Kiara’s.

Actor Shahid Kapoor, his wife Mira Rajput, filmmaker Karan Johar and fashion designer Manish Malhotra among others attended the couple’s Sangeet ceremony last evening when Kiara’s Chooda ceremony was also performed. The video of the event indicates that it was nothing less than a majestic light and sound show. Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor performed on Sidharth Malhotra’s song Kaala Chashma at his Sangeet, reports said.

A video, apparently showing the decor for Sidharth and Kiara’s Haldi ceremony, has also gone viral. The mehendi had musical performances by DJ Ganesh, the bride’s rapper brother Mishaal Advani and Punjabi fusion singers Hari and Sukhmani.
