Chennai: The name MS Dhoni is synonymous with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Even at the age of 41, Dhoni’s popularity with CSK fans can hardly be matched.
The former Team India captain, who has been preparing for the upcoming 16th edition of IPL since early this month, was on Monday in the mood for some ‘extra-curricular’ activities.
CSK shared a video on its official Twitter page where the legendary cricketer is seen applying spray paint on the seats at the iconic MA Chadambaram Stadium, the home venue of the four-time champions.
Dhoni is visibly enjoying the job, as he first sprays yellow paint on some seats, before trying the blue seats, as he says, “The darker colour is easier.”

The men in yellow will be playing at their home stadium after a gap of 4 years. While the 2020 and 2021 editions of IPL were held in the UAE because of COVID-19 restrictions, the world’s most popular T20 league did return to India in 2022 — but matches were held at limited number of venues.
CSK will open their campaign this season against defending champions Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad. Dhoni & Co. will play their maiden home match on April 3, against Lucknow Super Giants.
