New Delhi: Veteran actress-turned-politician, Jaya Bachchan’s rude behaviour with paparazzi and fans is known to all.
On Tuesday, the Samajwadi Party MP once again became a target of trolls for losing her cool and shoving a man, who was trying to take a selfie by standing close to her while she was in conversation with a person at the gate of the Constitution Club in Delhi. “Kya kar rahe hai aap (What are you doing?) What is this?” Jaya can be heard saying in the video which has now gone viral.
MPs Misa Bharti and Priyanka Chaturvedi can also be seen in the video.
The incident left netizens disappointed.
“This is her repeated behaviour, why people are mad taking selfie with such characters,” one of the users wrote.
“That’s so rude,” added another.
“Something is wrong with her always, we do respect her as an actor,” a third commented.

However, this is not the first time that the veteran actress was seen reprimanding someone for invading her privacy.
During the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, when the actress had stepped out with her husband, Amitabh Bachchan for casting her vote, she didn’t like paparazzi surrounding her and reprimanded them.
In another instance, when Jaya arrived with her daughter Shweta at Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira’s wedding reception in Mumbai last year, the veteran actress got irked with shutterbugs and warned them not to bother her.
In one of the episodes of ‘What The Hell Navya’, while talking about the paparazzi culture, Jaya said that she “hates it and despises the people who interfere in your personal life”.
“I hate it. I despise it. I despise the people who interfere in your personal life and fill their stomachs by selling those products. I hate it, I’m disgusted with such people. I always tell them, I say, ‘Aapko sharam nahi aati hai (Don’t you feel ashamed?)’,” she said.
“I feel very strongly and it’s not that it’s today, I felt it from day one. I don’t mind if you talk about my work. You say, ‘She’s a bad actor and she has done this film badly, she’s not looking nice’, because it’s visual media, don’t mind. But the rest I do mind,” Jaya added.
