Bhubaneswar: City denizens here are curious to know about the bride who drove the wedding venue decked up from head to toe in her bridal attire. A video of this young bride honking away on the way to her wedding venue has caught the attention of netizens. Many of them want to know what drove her to it?
“Many people wanted to know why the bride was driving the car to her own wedding and they wanted to share the video on their social media for doing the unexpected,” said food blogger Manisha Patnaik who had uploaded the video on Instagram.
Talking about how she ended up at the wheel, Sagarika Behera told a local magazine, “People were happy to see the video which was unexpected. We are two sisters and my parents were busy attending the guests at the venue. I was with my sister and cousins for the bridal make-up but none of them knew driving, so I decided to drive myself to the wedding venue.”
She further added, “I feel all girls should be independent and should be able to take charge of situations whenever required. If I would have waited for someone to drive me to the mandap then I would have definitely been late and it would have been unnecessary. My dad told me if I can come by myself then I should do it.”
