Bhubaneswar: A video featuring Jeypore Congress legislator Taraprasad Bahinipati making a parody of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s hugely popular “apana mane khusi tah” (Are you all happy?)” has gone viralon social media.
The video, in a comic manner, highlights various issues plaguing Odisha with the Jeypore MLA trying to score political brownie points.
The CM started frequently using the “apana mane…” statement in the run-up to the 2019 twin elections, triggering frenzy among audiences across the state.
While the BJD president’s apparent strategy in repeatedly using the expression was to highlight the achievements of his two-decade long rule, the Opposition has not lost an opportunity in using it sarcastically while bringing to the fore the state government’s failures.
