Amritsar: Days after Operation Sindoor was carried out, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday visited Punjab’s Adampur Air Base. According to reports, he interacted with the soldiers there. The development comes days after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire after tension between both the countries escalated following New Delhi’s precise airstrikes against terror infrastructure in the neighbouring country. India had launched the airstrike in retaliation to the attack on tourists in Pahalgam last month, leading to the death of 26.
Adampur was among the air force stations that was on Pakistan’s target on the intervening night of May 9 and 10, following India’s “Operation Sindoor”, reports claimed.
