It was also decided that CCTV camera network would be widened. A preliminary survey on augmentation and upgradation of CCTV cameras has already been completed.
As per the survey, 135 CCTV cameras would be installed inside the temple for which the locations have been identified. The CCTVs will be wireless and server-based, said the collector.
Verma further said joint forces of Temple police and district police will patrol the temple premises from Thursday night. They will be deployed at crucial places like store house, kitchen, administration office, main temple and others.
Since the SJTA was facing problems due to shortage of staff, the district administration has already written to the state government for recruitment of more employees. The government has agreed to the proposal and assured of taking necessary steps soon, the collector said.
