Bhubaneswar: Just a day before Dussehra, several parts of coastal Odisha are experiencing spells of rain under the influence of a low-pressure area that has formed over west-central Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Tuesday.
The residents of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack woke up to a wet Tuesday morning with heavy rain lashing the twin cities on Mahanavami.
The IMD’s regional centre has issued yellow warning for heavy rainfall over several districts of Odisha under the influence of the low-pressure area that is likely to move west-northwestwards towards Andhra Pradesh coast.
