Mumbai: Rumours have been doing the rounds about Rihanna’s possible retirement plan for quite some time.
The celebrity singer recently sparked speculation about the same while addressing her fans at an event during the opening of Fenty store in Barbados.
While deejaying at the event, Rihanna addressed the crowd, “Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me,” as per a Page Six report.
“I was able to create in ways that were very sincere and genuine, organic, and authentic to the things that I love. So, it doesn’t even feel like a job,” she added.
Earlier, the singer had promised to release a new music, but now her recent comment has left fans fearing her retirement from the industry.
As the video clip from the event went viral, fans started sharing their views on social media.

Another user wrote, “Rihanna really shouldn’t release any more music, Anti was the perfect album to leave off on and nothing she puts out now will satisfy yall and will be heavily criticized.”
