[Watch] SIT Arrests HD Revanna From Father Deve Gowda’s House After Court Denies Him Anticipatory Bail

Bengaluru: Bengaluru: Janata Dal (Secular) MLA and former Karnataka minister H D Revanna was arrested and taken into custody by Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials on Saturday evening hours after being denied anticipatory bail in a sex abuse case.

Revanna was nabbed from his father and ex-Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda’s house.

Revanna was booked in a kidnapping case on Thursday after a 20-year-old man filed a police complaint alleging that Revanna’s associate had abducted his mother, among many women who featured in the alleged sex tapes of his son and Hassan MP Prajwal.

The former minister was denied anticipatory bail by the People’s Representative Court earlier today. Revanna was found at former PM and his father H D Deve Gowda’s residence in Bengaluru.

According to police, the ‘kidnapped’ woman was found in Hunsur.

She is being questioned by police to collect information on the matter.

The SIT is probing kidnapping allegations against Revanna and also rape allegations against his son in the sex tapes case.

Revanna has also been accused of sexual harassment by women who worked in their house.
