Mumbai: A vlogger has captured dramatic visuals of waterlogged streets and celebrity residences in Mumbai as relentless rainfall continues to batter the city. The Instagram content creator, Sagar Thakur, shared videos cycling through the inundated lanes of Juhu, where some of Bollywood’s biggest stars reside, showing that “kitna bhi paisa ho, koi nahi bach paya” (no matter how much money you have, no one is spared).

Bachchan Residences Under Water
One of the most striking videos shows Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow, Prateeksha, surrounded by murky, calf-deep water. Thakur can be seen approaching the gate, trying to interact with the security guard, before being asked to leave. He also shared clips from outside Jalsa, the other Bachchan residence, where water had entered the front area.
Kajol, Rani Mukerji Homes Affected
Thakur’s footage also included Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s bungalow, Shiv Shakti, with nearby lanes submerged. Similarly, the compound of Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s home was shown affected by the flooding. The vlogger highlighted that even these high-end localities were not immune to the city’s severe waterlogging.
Mumbai Flood Situation Worsens
The downpour has caused massive waterlogging across Mumbai, disrupting traffic and daily life. Several areas have recorded knee-deep water, forcing authorities to issue advisories. According to official data, six people have died in rain-related incidents across Maharashtra in the past 24 hours.
