Bhubaneswar: While wishes poured in for Anubhav Mohanty on his birthday on Saturday, the actor-turned-politician said he will celebrate the day only after getting a divorce for his estranged wife Varsha Priyadarshini.

“I am not celebrating my birthday this year since we lost the head of our family and because of the hardships that I have been going through for the past few years. It will be a rebirth of sorts for me the day I get a divorce and I will celebrate my birthday then while dedicating it to all my well-wishers,” he said in a video message shared on social media.

While expressing gratitude to his fans for showing him love and good wishes on him every year, he urged them to help the poor and needy and bring a smile to their faces. “This will be the biggest gift on my birthday,” he added.

Notably, the teaser of Anubav’s upcoming movie ‘Love in London’ was also released on his birthday.
