[Watch] World’s Largest Cricket Jersey Unveiled Before IPL Final

Ahmedabad: The capacity crowd at Narendra Modi Stadium at Motera was witness to a moment of history here on Sunday evening, before the Indian Premier League (IPL) final.

The organizers of IPL unveiled the world’s largest cricket jersey to mark 15 years of the world’s richest and most popular T20 league. The gigantic jersey, measuring 66 x 42 metres, made its way into the Guinness World Records.

Former India allrounder and coach Ravi Shastri made the announcement during the opening ceremony ahead of the Gujarat Titans versus Rajasthan Royals title clash.

Rishi Nath, representative of Guinness World Records, presented the record-breaking certificate to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, secretary Jay Shah and IPL Governing Council chairman Brijesh Patel.
