Mumbai: The controversy between producer Ekta Kapoor and former Bigg Boss contestant Vikas Pathak aka Hindustani Bhau is getting worse with each passing day.
After lodging a police complaint gainst Ekta, Hindustani Bhau has now demanded that she return her Padma Shri award.
In an Instagram post, he wrote, “Ekta Kapoor apna Padmashri wapas kar. Or Indian Army se Mafi mang. Teri aukat nahi hai. Pehli fursat mein nikal. Koi zarurat nahi hai Teri mere Hindustan ko. (Ekta Kapoor, return your Padma Shri award. And apologise to the Indian Army. Get out of the country at the first opportunity. My country doesn’t need you).”
It all started after Phatak filed a case against Ekta for allegedly hurting national sentiments by featuring a man in an army uniform in a sex scene in the web series ‘XXX Uncensored’.
Following this, Ekta has been receiving a lot of threats, including of rape, on social media. On her part, Ekta stood up to the cyber bullies by saying that their thtreats mean “sex is bad, but rape is okay”.
