Mumbai: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty turned host for the ‘Weekend Ka Varr’ episode of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ as Salman Khan is busy with his ‘Dabangg’ tour.
Rohit addressed the issues in ‘Bigg Boss 19’ house and pulled up contestants for their behaviour, but in a humorous way.
The filmmaker called out Gaurav Khanna for being fake in the house, but before he could finish, Amaal jumped in to share his perspective.
The contestants didn’t care for the new host and continued to argue and fight in his presence.
This left the audience and internet greatly disappointed and they took to social media to demand Salman’s return as host.
One user commented, “This WKV was hella boring, watched it skipping parts and at an increased speed. Also, Amaal’s charging and triggering at GK wouldn’t have happened if it were Salman instead of Rohit Shetty. No one can deny that the respect and the much-needed fear he instils can be matched by anybody.”
Another person wrote, “The aura bhai has, nobody can have it… Contestants genuinely respect him… otherwise contestants literally misbehave in front of RS or Farah and Karan.”
One netizen said, “This should have been called Weekend ka scar. It was so bad and poorly done, it left some scars,” while another wrote, “The more others host, the more it is proved that SALMAN is the best host for the show…”
Someone suggested, “Want Bhaijaan to do this episode again.”
Another person commented, “Really, they wouldn’t have been able to speak like this in front of Salman Khan.”
There was no eviction this week.
