Mumbai: Television and film actor Ronit Roy ‘almost killed’ a Swiggy delivery person for no fault of his.
Ronit took to social media platform X to point out that the Swiggy person was riding on the wrong side and slammed the online food delivery app.
“@Swiggy I almost killed one of your riders. They definitely need instructions on riding. Riding those small electric mopeds doesn’t mean that they ride on the wrong side of the road onto oncoming traffic. But then, Do you even care for their lives or is it just business as usual?” Ronit posted.
Swiggy took note of Ronit’s complaint-cum-lecture.
“Hey Ronit, we expect our delivery partner to follow all traffic rules and have noted this to be looked into, do share any details if available for the necessary action to be taken,” Swiggy replied.
Ronit, who renewed his wedding vows with wife Neelam Singh on their 20th anniversary in December 2023, will next be seen in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, which features Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles.
