When Deepika Padukone Was Advised To Get Breast Implants; How Did She React?

Mumbai: Like most celebrities, Deepika Padukone has received advice left, right and centre. The Bollywood diva, who started as a model before her acting career took off, recently picked the best and worst advice she has got over the years.

The worst one, she recalled, was when someone asked her to get breast implants. Though she was still a teenager at that time, Deepika ignored the advice.

“The worst advice I received was to get breast implants. I was all of 18 then… and I often wonder how I had the wisdom to not take it seriously,” Deepika said in an interview with Filmfare.

As for the best advice, the 36-year-old actress mentioned Shah Rukh Khan.

“Shah Rukh (Khan) gives good advice and I got a lot from him. One of the most valuable pieces of advice I got from him was to always work with people you know you are going to have a good time with, because while you are making a movie you are also living life, making memories and creating experiences,” Deepika said.

Deepika has been receiving a lot of appreciation for her performance in recently-released ‘Gehraiyaan’ which deals with intricacies of relationships.
