Why Is Salman Khan Not Getting Married? Brother-In-Law Spills The Beans
Mumbai: One has lost count of the number of heroines Salman Khan has been linked with romantically. Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali, Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif… the list goes on and on.
Soon after his Bollywood debut in a main role in the 1989 superhit ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ Salman established himself as a box office top grosser. More than three decades later, his popularity among the masses hasn’t waned even at the age of 55.
But why didn’t he get married and settle down?
Salman has faced this question thousands of times times over the years, but has managed to brush it aside without offering an explanation.
Now, his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma – Salman’s co-star in his recently-released film Antim: The Final Truth – has come up with an answer to the million-dollar question.
Aayush, who is married to Salman’s sister Arpita Khan, said that the superstar’s working style is such that he doesn’t have the time to get married.
“I don’t bring up the topic of his wedding with him. The way I have seen his life, the way he works, I don’t think so he has time to get married. I just feel he is happy the way he is. He will take his own decisions,” Aayush said in an interview with RJ Siddharth Kanan.
Aayush observed that Salman follows a simple lifestyle.
“I am not as simple as him. For Salman, his basic necessities — his house, lifestyle, way of living – are very simple. He uses a phone that is two-three years old, he’s not interested in phones. He’s not interested in cars, he’s not interested in clothes, he doesn’t have desire to get latest gadgets at home, nothing. I think he’s only interested in films. If you leave him alone for two-three hours, he would spend the time watching a movie,” he elaborated.
His family members often urge Salman to upgrade his lifestyle, but to no avail.
