Will Alia Bhatt Work After Giving Birth? Hear It From Hubby Ranbir Kapoor

Mumbai: Life is on fast forward for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

Alia has been delivering one hit after another in Bollywood, and has just started her maiden Hollywood venture. Ranbir, on the other hand. is awaiting the release of two important films, including the much-awaited Brahmastra, co-starring Alia.

It was during the shooting of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that the two fell in love. They dated for nearly five years before tying the knot in April. And within three months, Alia announced her pregnancy.

The happy would-be dad went on to say that they had been discussing having ‘many children’ from the time they got into a relationship.

So will Alia stop working to have kids?

Well, that’s not how Ranbir is looking at the future.

During a recent media interaction while promoting his upcoming film ‘Shamshera’, Ranbir said he does not want his wife to “sacrifice her dreams” after embracing motherhood as she is one of the busiest stars in the industry.

“Alia is a very busy working star in this film industry and I don’t want her to sacrifice her dreams because she has a child. So we have to somewhere plan out a balanced life where we both can enjoy our personal life and our professional life.. so it is one day at a time, one step at a time, but I have a lot of expectations from it,” Ranbir remarked.

Alia last night returned to Mumbai from London where she was shooting for her Hollywood debut ‘Heart Of Stone’.

Ranbir talked about how he and Alia had both been raised by their mothers as the dads were busy with work away from home. But he wants a “different dynamic” with his children and wants them to be close to him.

Ranbir has been seen taking parenting tips from Rupali Ganguly of Anupamaa fame on ‘Ravivaar with Star Parivaar’, as well as Shamshera director Karan Malhotra.
