Khurda: A woman was beaten to death by a youth at Badnayapalli village under Begunia police limits in Khurda on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Parbati Pradhan, a native of Badnayapalli village.

According to sources, an argument ensued between Kabi Pradhan and a youth over some issue three days back. Kabi had also lodged a complaint regarding this in the police station.
In an act of revenge, the youth attacked Kabi with a wooden plank.
She was rushed to the Khurda district headquarters hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation.
