Khordha: Depressed over her husband’s death’s in a road accident on Diwali evening, a woman allegedly died by suicide at Benagadiapatna village under Bolgarh police limits in Odisha’s Khurda district on Monday night.
According to sources, Gokul Chandra Sahu’s motorcycle collided head-on with another two-wheeler while he was returning home on November 12 evening. He was rescued in a critical condition and rushed to a hospital, where he died during treatment.
Unable to bear the trauma of his death, his wife hanged herself with a rope last night, orphaning their two minor daughters.
