Ganjam: A woman was injured in a scuffle at a vaccination centre at Polasara in the district on Wednesday.
According to sources, there was a heavy rush at the Ranipada Kalyan Mandap for vaccination from the morning. As more people joined, some people lost patience and tried to break the line.
While others opposed it, there was a sudden surge by them to go ahead. In the process, the woman identified as Bhanu Sahu fell down and others stamped over her.
Later, Sahu was admitted to Polasara Community Health Centre (CHH) and later, shifted to the MKCG hospital in Berhampur. The hospital sources said she sustained injuries in her ribs.
