Sambalpur: A woman lecture from Odisha has been selected to participate in Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Dr. Sasmita Kar, who works as an assistant professor at RD Women’s University in Bhubaneswar, has got a call from the organizers of KBC. She will leave for Mumbai for the shooting of the episode after going through due process.

Sasmita has been an all-rounder since her student career excelling in various extra-curricular activities. She is the wife of senior journalist Sukant Kar and daughter of Batakrushna Sarangi of Niali in Cuttack district.
