Woman Succumbs To COVID-19 In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: One person succumbed to COVID-19 on Sunday. The deceased is a  29-year-old woman of Khurda district.

As per a tweet by the Health and family Welfare department, the woman was also suffering from Sickle Cell Disease with Sickling Crisis and hypothyroid disease.

Regret to inform the demise of 29 years old female Covid positive patient of Khordha district who was also suffering from Sickle Cell Disease with Sickling Crisis and hypothyroid disease.

The last death due to COVID-19 was reported on March 29 when a 35-year-old man from Kalahandi district lost his fight with the virus.

He was also suffering from Diabetic Keto-acidosis with Chronic Kidney Disease.

Considering the rise in coronavirus cases the Government is mulling day curfew to check the rapid spread of COVID-19.
