World’s Youngest TEDx Speaker Is A 5-Year-Old Indian American Girl

New Delhi: Only five years old, has already read more than 2,000 books and has a world record of reading 36 books non-stop for 105 minutes. Meet Kiara Kaur, the Indian-American girl who has scripted history by becoming the world’s youngest TEDx speaker. She addressed a TEDx meet on November 14, Children’s Day which led to her recognition by the World Book of Records in London.

“I am so excited to be the youngest TED speaker,” she told NDTV in an interview. She is now ready to release her first book “Dairy of a 5-Year-Old Genius Chatterbox Who Set World Records” which chronicles her journey in her own words. The typing work of the book was done by her mother, said the report.

As for her future plans, she said sometimes she wants to become a doctor to treat people and sometimes a leader to help the needy.

Kiara was born in the US and is living in Abu Dhabi where her doctor parents are settled. Kiara is also studying French and Spanish as she is quite inclined towards languages.
