Bhubaneswar: Worried customers lined up outside the Bapuji Nagar branch of Yes Bank here on Saturday to withdraw their deposits.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has set a withdrawal limit of up to Rs 50,000 from Yes Bank, after placing it under moratorium on Thursday.
The moratorium will be valid from 6 pm on March 5 to April 3, 2020. The restriction is valid across all types of accounts, including savings, current and other deposits.
According to sources, the State Bank of India is planning to buy 49 percent shares in Yes Bank.
