Bhubaneswar: In yet another instance of a jilted lover making viral intimate scenes of woman, a youth was arrested by the police from Jajpur town in Odisha, for allegedly committing a similar offence.
As per information, a woman filed a complaint at Banki Police on November 14 alleging her video clips were made viral by one Amiya Chakra. On the promise of a marriage, the woman was allegedly forced for a live-in relation for some time by Chakra, she stated in her complaint.
However, the youth continued to delay the marriage under one pretext or the other, much to the anguish of the woman. When she demanded for an early marriage, he rejected her plea and made viral their intimate scenes which he had clandestinely recorded earlier, she alleged.
Since the local police did not act as per her expectations, the woman met Cuttack Rural SP and apprised him about her plight. The police then traced the whereabouts of the accused tracking his mobile number and arrested him from Jajpur on Friday night, sources added.
Earlier, a man was arrested in Sambalpur for posting obscene videos of a married woman. Cyber Police had tracked the accused Ashish Padhy and had arrested him.
