Balangir: The body of an unidentified youth was found hanging from a tree on the premises of Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Balangir on Tuesday.
As per preliminary reports, the body was spotted hanging from a casuarinas tree behind the CT scan room of the hospital. The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.

Since his body had injury marks on the head and a ‘venflon’ (intravenous canula) was attached to his hand, it was suspected that he might be a patient of the hospital.
Meanwhile, local police and hospital authorities were intimated about the incident. Efforts were on to identify the deceased and verify under what circumstances and how he died, sources said.
